One of my favorite cartoons, I’ve never attempted to come up with a personal top ten, so not sure how it really ranks in the total scheme of things.
Why is it a favorite? Maybe it’s the thought bubble—the idea of someone being seemingly polite, but having thoughts that negate their speech, I dunno. I’d be somewhat curious to know when the first cartoon thought bubble appeared (although not curious enough to get sucked into a time-wasting “Googling” and further delay getting these August pages up—feel free to research on your own and get back to me).
