Thinking Positive | Chicago Tribune “Kidnews”

Found out the hard way that “blows” and “sucks” are words not allowed in the “Kidnews” section of “The Chicago Tribune”.
At lord knows how much it cost they literally “stopped the presses” and re-printed the whole section with a cartoon from the next month (see next). Even though this cartoon had been proofed and approved by at least four people, the editor at the time, who would eventually be fired and led out of the building by security (no lie) got a metaphorical bug up his ass and had to act quickly to save the children from such vulgarity.
